Here’s a glimpse of the magical pollinators you might spot in the garden:
Monarch Butterflies – One of the stars of the waystation, these beautiful butterflies are known for their long migratory journeys.
Yellow Swallowtails – Graceful and bright, they flutter around the flowers throughout the season.
Spicebush Swallowtails – Often found near spicebush shrubs, these butterflies have a rich, deep color.
Tiger Swallowtails – Their striking yellow and black patterns are a joy to see!
Pipevine Swallowtails – With their stunning iridescent blue-black wings, they’re a rare and beautiful sight.
Hummingbird Moths – These fascinating creatures look like a cross between a hummingbird and a moth!
Hummingbirds – While they’re not butterflies, they’re a part of our pollinator family and are often seen flitting between the flowers.
We also have ladybugs, which help keep the garden healthy, and plenty of other pollinators that make this area their home.
